Facilities & Activities

Facilities

JHLDC provides clean, age appropriate toys for all children as well as an outdoor activity area for more energetic play as they grow older.

Activities

Below are just some of the various actives we promote for the children depending on age and ability to be involved:

  • Circle Time/Coloring
  • Puzzles and Games
  • Free play
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Music
  • Pre-Reading Activities
  • Puppets
  • In addition, the children have age appropriate areas for nap time as needed during the day.

    Snack and Lunch

As a member of the California Department of Education's Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) , the older children receive nourishing snacks and lunch daily. Parents of infants will be required to provide the appropriate formula or breast milk for their own child under our care.
